SETは会社名なのかSonyの事業所名なのかはっきりしませんでした（Sony本社の関連企業リストに名前がない）
AXNはSony Pictures Entertainment, Inc (US)の関連子会社のようです。
本文中「ソニー・ピクチャーズエンターテインメント」と始まりますが、日本ではこれは、Sony Pictures Entertainment, Inc ではなく、その子会社であるSony Pictures Entertainment (Japan), Inc をさします。米国の会社はソニー・ピクチャーズエンターテインメント・インクとSonyでは呼称しています。米国の会社を指すなら、「米ソニー・ピクチャーズエンターテインメント」ないし「ソニー・ピクチャーズエンターテインメント・インク（本社・アメリカ）」などとするのがよいように思います。--Aphaia 2005年7月30日 (土) 06:58 (UTC)[返信]

Actually, it's Sony Pictures Entertainment Networks Latin America. This company owns the Latin American versions of the cable networks Sony Entertainment Television, AXN and now Animax. HBO Latin America Group SM is another company which distributes -i.e., sells- those -and other signals, like HBO, Cinemax, Warner Channel, History Channel, etc.- to Latin American cable operators. Hmmm your information with the article is a bit unclear for me. The article seems to me " the cable networks Sony Entertainment Television, AXN and HBO broadcast Animax". But now you mean Sony Entertainment Television, AXN and Animax are also cable networks. I thought from your writings AXN owns HBO and there would be two networks which broadcast Animax.

However you meant there are two networks, owned by Sony Pictures Entertainment Networks Latin America and by another company HBO Latin America Group SM. And from your writing it seemed Sony Entertainment Television and AXN would broadcast Animax, but it isn't what you meant, and you would have liked to say Animax is one of those channel owned by Sony - If I misunderstand, please let me know. Sony Pictures Entertainment Networks Latin America (SPENLA) owns Sony Entertainment Television, AXN and Animax, while HBO Latin American Group acts as a distribution company (cable operators pay for the signals to HBO Latin American Group, not to SPENLA).
